Día internacional de las mujeres – International Women’s Day

To celebrate International Women’s Day, students in MFL took time to honour the inspirational women in their lives. They wrote heartfelt cards and thoughtful letters in Spanish, expressing gratitude and admiration for women who have made a difference to them — from family members to public figures.

The activity helped students practise language skills in a meaningful context, while reflecting on the importance of female role models. Alongside the writing, pupils also took part in mindful colouring sessions, creating a calm and creative space to appreciate the day’s message of equality and empowerment.
