7M came together for a beautiful lunchtime Mass this half-term, prepared during their RS lessons with Mr Brooks. In class, pupils practised their readings and wrote heartfelt bidding prayers on themes such as peace; family and friends; and our school community.
The Mass was led by Father Paul, who shared an inspiring message: “Don’t hide your gifts and talents – let them shine for the world to see.” His words remind us that each of us has something special to offer and that we should use our gifts to make a positive difference.
The Scripture readings focused on welcoming the stranger, and Father Paul encouraged everyone to think about how we can live this out in our own lives – by showing kindness, inclusion, and compassion every day.
We are so grateful to Father Paul for giving us his time and leading such a meaningful celebration. After Mass, the whole class enjoyed a well-deserved treat – pizza! It was a lovely way to end a special occasion.
Well done, 7M! You showed great effort and reverence in preparing and leading this Mass. Your prayers and participation truly reflected our Sacred Heart values.
