CHRISTMAS CERAMICS SALE SUCCESS

In the run up to Christmas, students from the Y12 Ceramics class and the Year 10 Duke of Edinburgh’s Award students have been raising money for local charities through the sale of their Christmassy ceramics. The enterprising bunch have been busy this term getting their Christmas decorations and candle holders ready so they could run ‘pop up’ stalls at school events throughout December.

An amazing total of £240.80 was raised from these sales – this will be split between our school fundraising efforts for the West End Food Bank and the building project at the new Sacred Heart school in Kenya.

This is a tremendous effort and they should feel very proud that their artistic talents and hard work will contribute to such good causes. A special thanks to all the staff and students involved.
