GREAT BRITISH SUMMER SAVINGS

We would like to make families aware of the Government's new Great British Summer Savings scheme, designed to help reduce the cost of family activities over the summer holidays. From 25^th June to 1st September 2026, VAT on eligible children's meals in restaurants, family and children's tickets to cinemas, theatres, concerts, exhibitions, and admission to many attractions has been temporarily reduced from 20% to 5%. In addition, children aged 5 to 15 in England can benefit from free bus travel throughout August, making it easier and more affordable for families to enjoy cultural, educational and recreational experiences during the school holidays. We encourage parents and carers to take advantage of these savings and explore the wide range of activities available over the summer.
