Languages Come to Life at Year 6 Open Evening

Our MFL department was delighted to welcome Year 6 pupils and their families to SHHS for a very successful Open Evening. 

Our fantastic KS3 and KS5 students played an important role throughout the evening, supervising a range of fun language games designed to help visitors build confidence with the basics of French and Spanish. They encouraged Year 6 pupils to get involved, have a go and discover how enjoyable learning a language can be. 

The girls were also wonderful ambassadors for SHHS, chatting confidently with parents and helping to reassure Year 6 pupils who will be joining us in September. Their enthusiasm, kindness and willingness to share their own experiences of life at SHHS helped to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
