Throughout Lent, we are launching our Hearts Together: Kindness in Action Project as a practical way of living out the Goal of Community.
The Goal of Community calls us to build relationships rooted in compassion, encouragement and shared responsibility. It challenges us to recognise that we belong to one another — and that small, everyday actions shape the culture of our school.
This half-term, our mission is simple: notice kindness, name it, and celebrate it.
Each member of our community will receive kindness tickets to share during Lent. When someone demonstrates thoughtfulness, patience, encouragement or quiet service, they can be recognised with a ticket and a short note explaining what they did.
Kindness might look like:
Helping someone who is struggling
Including someone who feels left out
Supporting a friend having a difficult day
Showing gratitude or encouragement
Serving others without being asked
This project is not about grand gestures. It is about forming hearts that actively look for the good in others.
As we journey through Lent — a season of reflection and growth — we are reminded that even the smallest acts of kindness can have a powerful impact. Through this initiative, we hope to strengthen our sense of belonging and continue building a community where everyone feels seen, valued and supported.
