We are proud to celebrate the second year of Goodness Odumade, Erin Devine (Y9) and Angel Riconalla’s ( Y11) involvement in Next Generation Act, the Royal Shakespeare Company’s long-term talent development programme for young people across the country.

Designed to support emerging talent from backgrounds that may not typically have access to professional opportunities in the arts, Next Generation Act works with selected individuals over several years to develop their performance skills, build confidence, and take their first steps into the world of work.
This year, our students will continue their actor training with a week-long residency in Stratford-upon-Avon. Working closely with RSC artists, they will focus on building essential skills in communication, collaboration, and ensemble work. The week will culminate in the ongoing development of their 2025 production, which is set to be performed on 20–21 August.
As well as rehearsals and workshops, participants will have the chance to connect with young people from across the country, explore the RSC’s home in Stratford, and gain unique insight into the life of a professional actor.
We are thrilled to see our students thrive as part of this inspiring programme and look forward to supporting them through this exciting next stage of their training.
