Success for Team SHHS Cross Country Runners
A huge well done to our ten KS3 students and four KS4 students who recently represented the school at the Cross-Country Competition held at Temple Park.
Competing against schools from across Newcastle and Northumberland, the girls demonstrated outstanding resilience, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the event. Despite the challenging course and the nerves that come with competing, they rose to the occasion and gave their very best effort.
All of our runners should be incredibly proud of their performances, but a special mention must go to our two Year 10 students, who achieved exceptional results. Their hard work and commitment paid off as they brought home both the gold and silver medals; an outstanding achievement against such strong competition.
The girls were fantastic ambassadors for the school, showing courage, perseverance, and a positive attitude throughout the day. We are incredibly proud of their success and look forward to seeing what they achieve in future competitions.
Congratulations to all involved!
