Year 12 Fine Art trip to the Baltic Centre of Contemporary Art

Year 12 Fine Art students enjoyed a trip to the Baltic.

We took part in a talk about the Laura and Rachel Lancaster, studying their different approaches to oil painting and the theme of memories. Students explored a range of traditional and contemporary art across different floors in the gallery, from sculptural three-dimensional pieces to sound installation.

They will take ideas and inspiration back to their sixth form art studio and first project!
