Year 13 have a talk by current Newcastle Uni Business Student

On Friday 20 March, 13C were lucky enough to be visited by Polly Muncey, who is in second year at Newcastle University, studying Business and Marketing.

She is the daughter of Mrs Perry's oldest friend - who also came to Newcastle Uni 30 years ago! Polly talked to the students about moving away from home, taking a Gap Year, living in halls, finding private accommodation, budgeting, societies, and general student life.

It was a really interesting and highly informative talk which gave the girls lots to think about - especially as we focus on Student Finance from next week. It made the whole student life seem so much more real.
