Year 7 Experience their First Chapel Lesson

This September, our Year 7 students took part in their first Chapel Lesson as part of their Religious Studies curriculum. These lessons take place once every half term and provide students with an opportunity to step away from the busyness of the school day and spend time in prayer, reflection and quiet contemplation. 

During this first session, students reflected on the scripture: 

"I have loved you with an everlasting love." (Jeremiah 31:3) 

Together, they explored what it means to be welcomed and to welcome others, considering how we can help everyone feel valued, included and loved within our school community. 

We look forward to accompanying Year 7 on their faith journey through these Chapel Lessons as they continue to grow in their understanding of God's love and the Sacred Heart values that shape our school community.
