Year 9 RSE Event June 2026

This week, we welcomed Micala and Lee Trussler from Holly's Hope, Ben Oliver from Think for Yourself, our School Nursing Team, John from the Violence Reduction Unit, and Caroline Williamson, our school counsellor, to deliver a series of Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) sessions for Year 9 students.

The sessions covered a range of important topics, including recognising red flags in relationships, identifying malicious online content, contraception and consent, grooming, and the characteristics of healthy relationships.

Year 9 students engaged well throughout the programme, and their feedback was both positive and constructive, highlighting the value of these sessions in developing their knowledge, understanding, and confidence around these important issues.
