This half-term, our school came together to celebrate a truly meaningful occasion – the Welcome Mass for our Sacred Heart Goals Ambassadors. Led by Father Damien, the Mass marked the official beginning of their important role within our school community.
In his homily, Father Damien spoke about the excitement and hope he feels for the year ahead, reminding us that our ambassadors are called to embody this year’s Sacred Heart Goal: Community. As a symbol of this mission, each ambassador’s badge was blessed, signifying their commitment to nurturing unity, kindness, and connection throughout the school.
The Mass was a wonderful team effort, with several ambassadors taking on key roles such as reading Scripture and leading prayers. We were especially proud to see students from Year 7 right through to Sixth Form involved, showing that the spirit of the Sacred Heart truly spans every corner of our school.
This celebration was a beautiful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together with purpose and faith. We cannot wait to see how our Goals Ambassadors will inspire others and bring the Sacred Heart values to life across our community in the months ahead.
