Class Mass with 8A

Class 8A recently came together to celebrate a meaningful and reflective Class Mass, centred on the Feast of the Nativity of John the Baptist. This special liturgical focus reminded students of John’s important role in preparing the way for others and encouraged everyone to reflect on their own purpose.

During the Mass, the priest made a strong connection between the life of John the Baptist and the expectations we set for ourselves. He spoke about how each student has unique gifts and the potential to achieve great things, reminding 8A that reaching this potential requires effort, belief, and a commitment to doing their best every day.

The celebration was a valuable opportunity for students to pause, reflect, and consider how they can grow both academically and personally. It reinforced the message that, just like John the Baptist, they can make a positive difference in the lives of others.

To round off the occasion, 8A enjoyed a well-earned pizza party after Mass, celebrating not only their participation but also their continued hard work and positive attitude as a teaching group.

Well done, 8A!
