JUNIOR CHOIR AND BSL CHOIR VIRTUAL PERFORMANCE

This year, Sacred Heart took part in the North-East Festival of Languages, which included a range of workshops, competitions and activities run by our excellent MFL Department!
In the music department we taught our Junior Choir Louis Armstrong’s beautiful song ‘What A Wonderful World’, in both English and French, while our student-led BSL Choir learnt the song in British Sign Language.
These performances were videoed and have been merged with performances by schools from across the city in a virtual performance celebrating the range of languages spoken across the region. This video was released this month and is a lovely reminder of the diversity and talent of our city and its young people. Look out for our choirs' fleeting appearances!
