"Let your light shine" Week –Spanish Escape Room

In February, we reflected on the Sacred Heart Goal of Intellect—how we use our minds, gifts, and talents to seek truth, understand the world, and reach our potential.

Let your light shine week was all about embracing opportunities to focus on using your mind in creative and challenging ways and pushing yourself to step outside your comfort zone!

A highlight of the week was the Spanish escape room activity ran by Mrs. Thompson on the 20th of February in LN4. Students worked in teams to solve a series of clues—all in Spanish—testing both their language skills and their ability to think logically under pressure. The room was buzzing with energy as pupils raced against the clock, applying vocabulary, grammar, and cultural knowledge in a creative and immersive setting. It was a brilliant example of how intellect can be nurtured through collaboration, challenge, and fun!
