Letters to Amiens – French Pen Pal Project

We’re thrilled to announce that our new pen pal scheme with the Sacred Heart school in Amiens, France is well underway! Earlier this term, our students created profile pages, which were sent across the Channel to help introduce themselves to their new French correspondents.

We’re delighted to share that replies have now arrived from Amiens, and we are in the process of distributing them.

This project is more than just a letter exchange — it’s a wonderful opportunity to broaden cultural understanding, promote cross-cultural friendships, and develop a more mindful approach to communication. In an age of instant messages, this initiative also sparks joy through the slower, more meaningful art of letter writing.

We can’t wait to see how these international friendships grow over time!
