Placement opportunities for Year 12 Early Childhood Development students

Year 12 Early Childhood Development students have gained the opportunity to volunteer on a weekly basis in a local early years setting, including some of our Trust primary schools.

The students will be observing and supporting in classrooms to gain a further understanding of the early years curriculum, alongside developing their communication and professional learner skills. Placements on offer include nurseries and special educational needs provision, giving a valued insight into a wide range of careers that involve working with children.

Students will be designing their own activities to carry out in the setting and will be graded against a range of competencies, which is fantastic preparation for their undergraduate study. We wish them every success!
