SIXTH FORM REPRESENTATION AT INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

In November, A-Level Music student Joan Buhalagarha spoke powerfully about the importance of music education as part of an international conference at the Glasshouse International Centre for Music. 

In a discussion panel led by Bridget Whyte, CEO of Music Mark, Joan spoke about the impact music has had on her life, the challenges she has faced and the ways in which music educators have supported her musical journey.

Her audience was made up with industry professionals from organisations including the BBC Orchestras, BBC Radio, UK Music, the National Youth Orchestra and Music Mark.
