This was the question posed by judges in the BBCET Durham University Essay Writing Competition which took place this month. Open to any Year 12 student in the North East of England, entrants from all five of the Trust secondary schools competed to present their views in a convincing and compelling way in 500 words or less!
One person who made her voice heard loud and clear was Year 12 student Maisha Charag, whose clearly structured and engaging essay won her a runner up place and a prize of £25. Congratulations to Maisha on this impressive achievement!
