RESULTS DAYS 2025
Year 11
RESULTS DAY ROUTINES
GCSE Results Day is Thursday 21st August. You can collect your results in the Sixth Form building from 9:00am.
If you are unable to collect your results in person, you will be able to access via the Parent Portal on Arbor. A parent/carer should have signed up to the new portal prior to you leaving school. This is the only way you will be able to access results online. Results will be available online from 9:00am.
If your parent/carer has not already signed up, please use the button below for instructions on how to set up the Parent Portal account.
Alternatively, you can leave a stamped addressed envelope at the main school reception and your results will be posted out to you. Unfortunately, we are unable to give your results to another person, even with your permission.
The Sixth Form building will be open until 12:00pm.
Sixth Form Enrolment
Once you have collected your results you will be directed to the study area to complete your Sixth Form Enrolment form OR Destination form. If you’re unable to attend results day, and you’re wanting to enrol for Sixth Form, please check your emails on results day as an online enrolment form will be sent to you.
The Sixth Form building will be open until 12:00pm.
Donations of Uniform/Revision Guides
In the Sixth Form foyer we will have a box for any uniform or GCSE resources you would like to donate to school. Thank you.
Year 11 Subject Bridging Work
Please find below the link to our Year 11 Subject Bridging Work. Here you will find all the resources for the subject taster sessions.
Subject Entrance Tests
If on results day you find you do not meet the grade entry requirements for one of the subjects you would like to study, there will be an opportunity to sit a paper during the Year 12 transition days in September.
To be able to sit this paper you must have the relevant APS (Average Point Score) for the subject but have missed the grade requirement for that subject by one grade only. The option to sit a paper is only available for one subject.
For example, you would like to take Geography but achieved a grade 4 in your GCSE. If you have an APS of 5 or above, then you have the option to sit this paper.
The option of whether you need to sit this paper will be decided on results day.
The paper is based on the bridging work you have been given in the subject taster sessions. If you were unable the sessions, all the bridging work is available online. Please click the link above under the bridging work section.
