YEAR 9 AND 10 VISIT TO ST CHAD'S COLLEGE AT DURHAM UNIVERSITY

A small group of Year 9 and 10 students had the opportunity to experience college life at Durham University, with a visit to St Chad's College this June.

The day involved a tour of the college and group activities with other schools, before having lunch and taking a walk around the city to admire the architecture.

Students then attended two mini lectures by Durham University professors, covering a range of topics such as an introduction to philosophy, and large language models and the growth of AI.

The students represented Sacred Heart with pride, and the experience raised aspirations and allowed for reflection on future educational opportunities.
