Diagnostic Assessments

We believe that one of the reasons Sacred Heart is so successful at helping students maximise achievement is through the way we do our practice examinations, or Diagnostic Assessments.
Our examination week is geared towards helping your daughter’s teachers best target their efforts in the remaining teaching weeks of the year. Through this diagnostic approach, your daughter will be able to see the areas where she should focus her effort; removing the ‘revise everything from the start’ mentality and ensuring our students target their revision suitably. In all but a minority of special cases your daughter’s teachers will have completed all of the content for the examination by February half term so, it would be appropriate for your daughter to start revising now and not leave it until the Easter holidays.
The timetable for your daughter’s exams is laid out below. Your daughter should present to her exam 15 minutes before the start time with all of the equipment that she needs for the examination.
