FESTIVAL OF READING: YEAR 12 AUTHOR EVENT

On Wednesday 4th June, we made an early start to our Reading Festival celebrations with an author visit from Lizzy Tiffin.   

Lizzy, a local author and avid fan of mythological retellings, spoke to Year 12 about her book The Bad Girls of Ancient Greece. Lizzy spoke about her passion for representing the women from Greek myth, her source material and how she categorised the women into archetypes for the book.   

Afterwards the students asked very insightful questions and shared their own Greek myth recommendations.
