Earlier this year, one of our students took part in the much-loved TV show Junior Bake-Off and we couldn’t be prouder!
The series aired on Channel 4 in January 2026 and saw talented young bakers from across the country step into the famous Bake-Off tent. Over the course of the show, contestants were set a range of exciting (and sometimes tricky!) challenges, from technical bakes to creative showstoppers all under the pressure of the clock.
Our Year 7 student showed incredible skill, creativity, and determination throughout the experience. She loved learning new baking techniques, developing her confidence, and discovering how to stay calm and focused - even when things didn’t go exactly to plan.
One of the hardest parts? Keeping it a secret! She had to wait a long time before she could finally share the news with her friends and teachers and when she did, there was plenty of excitement and pride all round. It’s been lovely to see how happy she has been to talk about her experience and how supportive her peers have been.
We are incredibly proud of her for representing herself, her family, and our school so positively. She is a hugely talented baker, and this experience has only added to her passion and enthusiasm for baking. We can’t wait to see what she does next and we’ll certainly be keeping an eye out for future show-stopping bakes!
