Goals Launch

We have begun our new Sacred Heart Goal focus for this year: the Goal of Community. Inspired by our theme Hearts on Fire, we are exploring how love can spread like a flame, warming and uniting all those around us.

A heart on fire is a heart that burns with kindness, ready to help others and create a welcoming community. It is a heart that shows bravery and courage, willing to stand up for what is right and support those in need. It shines with joy and hope, lifting others up with encouragement. Most importantly, it is a heart connected to faith—trusting in love and inspired to live with purpose.

To celebrate this theme, we have launched our new Hearts on Fire Awards, recognising students and staff who embody the spirit of a heart on fire:

• The Steady Flame for reliability, kindness, and consistency.

• The Joyful Spark for bringing joy, humour, and encouragement.

• The Community Torch Bearer for showing courage and standing up for what is right.

• The First Spark Award for embracing new beginnings with curiosity and growth.

• The Guiding Fire (Staff Award) for a member of staff who goes above and beyond for our school community.

These awards will shine a light on those whose hearts inspire others and help keep our Sacred Heart flame burning brightly.

We look forward to seeing how our students and staff will continue to let their hearts shine throughout this special year of Community.
