The Grand Final of Lip Sync Battle 2025: A Showstopping Celebration of Talent and Togetherness

This half-term has been nothing short of spectacular as Lip Sync Battle made its triumphant return to the Sacred Heart stage. Now in its third year, the event has once again brought glitter, energy, and a whole lot of heart to our school community—all in aid of our charity of the year, St Cuthbert’s Care.

After four unforgettable rounds filled with daring costumes, epic choreography, and iconic performances, the competition reached its peak with the Grand Final on Monday 14th July. From over 130 students in 40 acts, just 10 finalists made it through to the last round—representing the very best of Sacred Heart spirit and talent. Each act took to the stage in front of an audience of over 450 students and staff, giving it their all for the final performance. The standard was sky-high, and the competition fierce, but one act truly stole the show. A huge congratulations to our 2025 Lip Sync Battle Champion… ‘6, 7, Brazilian’ from Year 10! 🏆

Beyond the amazing performances, what truly made this event so special was the sense of community. From students stepping out of their comfort zones to supportive staff working tirelessly behind the scenes, Lip Sync Battle continues to be a shining example of what Sacred Heart is all about: courage, creativity, community, and compassion.

Thanks to everyone’s generosity and enthusiasm, we are thrilled to share that together we have raised over £1700 for St Cuthbert’s Care—a charity that supports vulnerable people across the Northeast through care homes, fostering services, and community outreach. Your donations will make a real difference.
