YEAR 10/12 CELEBRATION OF SUCCESS 2025

On Wednesday 26th November, we welcomed students and their families to join us for the 2025 Celebration of Success.

Despite knowing they were receiving awards, there was a lot of anticipation and excitement in the air with students trying to work out what they thought they’d been nominated for!

The evening was to celebrate our current Year 10 and Year 12 students and their achievements of the previous academic year. For Year 10 celebrating the hard work, effort and enthusiasm of Year 9. And for Year 12, celebrating their GCSE journey. Over 80 awards were presented on the evening, with each award comprising of a certificate and gift card.

A huge thank-you goes to our musical performers for the evening: Lucy Zhao Year 8, Martha Bell Y11, and Namra Nawaz-Bhatti and Leena Ali Y11. Their performances were truly outstanding!

Prizes were given for each subject, alongside Ethos and GRIT/ Professional Learner awards, all nominated by their class teachers. There was also the Head of Year 9 Award, won by Amber Whitfield-Turnbull, Head of Year 11 Award won by Abi Lei Pegram. The final award of the evening was the prestigious Headteacher’s ‘Courage and Confidence’ award which was presented by Mrs Howell to Verity Whincup in Year 10.

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of our students; it was a fantastic evening. We are already looking forward to the Year 7 and 8 celebration evening in July!
