Year 12 Duke of Edinburgh Gold Practice Expedition

From Thursday 7th May to Saturday 9th May, 22 students took part in our Duke of Edinburgh Gold Practice Expedition, our biggest Gold intake for a number of years. Blessed with perfect weather, and far better conditions than those back in Newcastle, the students showed fantastic determination and teamwork as they covered over 45km across the three days.

Their effort throughout the expedition was excellent, but equally impressive were the culinary skills on display at camp, with pasta dishes that would rival an Italian restaurant.

The group should be incredibly proud of what they achieved and they are now well prepared for their main expedition in July.
