YEAR 6 OPEN EVENING

What a wonderful time we had at our Year 6 Open Evening this month! It was fantastic to see such a great turnout of parents and prospective students, creating a warm, welcoming and vibrant atmosphere throughout the school.

Our amazing student helpers and Sixth Form Ambassadors were a real highlight of the evening. 157 volunteers confidently lead parents on tours around the school and shared their experiences with such enthusiasm and pride. They were outstanding representatives of our Sacred Heart community and truly demonstrated what it means to be a Sacred Heart student through their kindness, confidence, courtesy and willingness to help others. We are incredibly proud of the way they conducted themselves.

A good example of this was in the Art department, where Year 11 student helpers prepared a collaborative artwork that was added to by our Year 6 visitors; their decorated Sacred Heart logos recorded how they felt about coming to secondary school.

Thanks to all the Sacred Heart staff who made the evening so informative and enjoyable, and to all the parents and families who attended.
