As part of our ongoing commitment to personal development, our Year 11 students recently had the opportunity to take part in an informative and inspiring session during form time, led by Adam from the Student Services team at Gateshead College.

Adam spoke passionately about the wide range of options available to students as they prepare to take their next steps into Key Stage 5. His talk covered everything from traditional academic routes like A Levels, to more hands-on and career-focused pathways such as vocational courses, T Levels, and apprenticeships.

Each option was explained clearly, helping students understand the differences and what might suit their individual strengths, interests, and future goals. Whether aiming for university, skilled employment, or further training, there’s a pathway for everyone.

We’re proud to offer sessions like this as part of our personal development programme, helping students feel confident and prepared for life beyond Year 11. A huge thank you to Adam and Gateshead College for supporting our students and providing such valuable guidance.
