Our Year 11 Geography students recently enjoyed a residential trip to Keswick, where they carried out fieldwork to support their GCSE exam. Their investigations focused on changes in river characteristics and the impact of tourism in the town centre, giving them valuable hands-on experience outside the classroom.

Alongside their studies, the students embraced outdoor challenges including ghyll scrambling, kayaking, rock climbing and high ropes. Many conquered fears as they scrambled through fast-flowing streams and leapt into plunge pools, showing resilience, courage, and teamwork.
The trip was a fantastic success. Each student truly embodied the Sacred Heart Goal of Community by continuously working together and supporting each other throughout the trip.
