MULTILINGUAL POETRY SLAM SUCCESS
On Friday 27 th a group of year 8s, 9s, and 10s were at the Civic Centre for an eye-opening Multilingual Poetry Slam. Year 7 Netball team show grit and spirit against Dame Allan’s
The Year 7 netball team played Dame Allan’s in a league fixture and produced some fantastic performances. The A team showed great determination to come from behind and secure an impressive 10–7 victory, with outstanding shooting from Emily. The B team also played brilliantly, narrowly losing 3–1 in a very closely contested match. Both teams demonstrated excellent teamwork, resilience, and some lovely passages of play throughout. Placement opportunities for Year 12 Early Childhood Development students

Renowned local author LISETTE AUTON starts project with Year 9 class
On Wednesday 25th February, 9R had the first of three sessions led by local author Lisette Auton. They were given a range of creative writing tasks to warm up their creature muscles, before starting to think about what element of society they wanted to change. Easter Sale for Sister Act!
Students in Year 10 and Year 11 have been working extremely hard to create a range of handmade items for sale, including vases, cards, baubles, bags, bookmarks, and more. Many of these items required a great deal of patience and perseverance, and the students have shown real dedication throughout the process.
