This week (13th - 17th November) marks the start of Geography awareness week.
The purpose of Geography Awareness Week is to raise awareness about the significance of Geography to everyone’s lives and encourage people to consider their relationship with the environment and place.
Throughout this week the Geography department will be running a number of activities, including:
All Year Groups Photography competition
Year 8 & 9 Geography Quiz (limited spaces, sign up sheet at Geography Office)
Year 9 Geography Beyond KS3 in class seminar and Sky Trip 2.0 Launch
Years 10 and 11 Geography Beyond KS4 in class seminar
Sixth form Photography competition
All year groups Lunchtime Geography Film Club running all week (limited spaces G2)
