Junior LitSoc had the privilege of ending their series of lectures and seminars with a session led by our Headteacher, Mrs Howell, today.
Over a working lunch, she went through Tennyson's famous poem, The Lotus Eaters, inviting interpretation and discussion. Junior LitSoc have had a wealth of presentations over the past 15 weeks, from writing poetry with Rowan McCabe, to considering Language and Cultural Identity, to thinking about Accentism, to being introduced to The Harlem Renaissance.
We hope to welcome many of Junior LitSoc's members to studying English Language and Literature at A Level in September.
